Anyone in Toronto who can take a 9 yo dog with special needs?
Mac was shot when he was 2, some bullet fragments are still in. He needs pain medication. He's also reactive to loud noises (hard to blame him!)
My friend has had him for 7 years. Mac is a very good boy. However my friend is struggling with major health issues with no way out and has tried for MONTHS to find a rescue that would take Mac. My friend has no spoons left. And the vet suggested euthanasia. This coming Saturday.

Any chance you good dog people might be able to give this above toot a boost? It would be good to see if :mastodon: could help get a new home for this needy dog, rather than having to be put down 🙄
