@thomas Only the freezing problem with Thunderbird itself., but yes. I have quite a number of email accounts, and when I refresh all of them, or thunderbird has to download many messages, ot freezes for that time. Just like the whole application is single threaded and getting mail is blocking the main thread. Actually the reason why I don't use it anymore :(
