juliajaniszewski, Is it possible to talk about #dietculture fads in a way that is still permissive of the sheer genetic variability that necessarily dictates that some dietary choices are suitable for some but not for others? Every time I hear that #keto is a dangerous fad, I have to grit my teeth, because it’s been the only successful intervention (medical or otherwise) for my chronic #migraines, and I’d be disabled 3 or 4 days a week if I didn’t keep myself in ketosis (in my case, <18 net grams of carbs p/day).
