@shanselman Wearing a wristwatch I would wake up every time I turn over. As it is, Eight hours in bed, about six of those being good sleep, the rest tossing and turning.
@shanselman That’s really good, Scott. How do you handle the variances of life and the requirement of the Apple sleep tracking to have a fixed sleep time every day? I know it’s better for your health, but I rarely am able to get in the sack at precisely the time Apple wants me to. I wish there was a way to just tell it, “Hey, I’m in bed now” at whatever time it is. Should be able to get data for naps, too.
@shanselman So you’ve disabled the “regularly scheduled sleep time” feature and still get tracking via the manual focus sleep option, eh? I’ll try that. Thanks!
@shanselman I love my wife because she’s in bed every night by 10p, which in turn keeps my sleep schedule regular. When she’s out of town for work, I’m like a ship without a compass when it comes to bedtime 😂
@shanselman I try for 8, and feel better if I routinely get it, but I often don't feel ready to sleep at bedtime and can't achieve 8 with a later bedtime.
@nicowde yes, the challenge is keeping the watch charged, so I have it on the charger when I’m in the shower, or sitting at dinner, if you can get an hour and a half or two of charging in during the day then you’re fine for sleeping
