@TonyStark Thomas appears to be more or less wholly owned by Crow, a billionaire with a project to remake the judiciary. His continued presence on the court is a scandal.

Clarence Thomas should be walked out of the building. Shamefully Republicans will stand again defending his corruption as they did thru Trump’s two impeachments.
The damage to our democracy IS the point of everything the republicans do. It's not to spite the "libs" or whatever; it's to intentionally destroy the connective tissue that holds a free society together.
@TonyStark I know the defense isn’t something about helping “at risk youth,” as if the grandnephew of a SCOTUS justice would at all fit that description. All that money and can’t buy a bigger spin. SMDH.
@shayz0rz That’s apparently what they’re going with. Thomas said he raised the kid as a son so the at risk doesn’t wash. I guess Thomas found his own way out of the student debt crisis, though, not that he’ll vote to help anyone else on that.
If Crow has a history of helping “at risk youth” surely there are some out there who aren’t related to conservatives judges trying cases that will help Crow out.

I was on the Hillary campaign and when we ran events we had merchandise booths. Every purchase, no matter how small, had to have a form. We could not accept cash, it had to be credit card so that we had source verification.
I was nearby the tables helping others and when I returned a volunteer had erroneously accepted a ten dollar bill for a few bumper stickers. I had to staple the bill to a form with an explanation as to why we accepted cash.
