Is a postmarketOS GSI image a thing? Would be interested in reading or hearing from devs if such a thing would be possible/doable. This would open up @postmarketOS to a lot more Android devices 🤔

I have a Samsung A9 pro a910f smartphone which is stuck on Android 8.0. It has happened several times that we are unable to install some apps because they are only compatible with Android 8.1+, unfortunately this forces us to change devices. Custom ROMs don't exist for it either. It would be great if the cell phone could be updated to be useful for a few more years
@fisch@postmarketOS it's a Generic System Image. Google added this to Android 9+ devices that support Treble, allowing a developer to run a newer version of Android on their devices without needing an official update!
