MichaelAltfield,

PSA: you can't delete photos uploaded to #lemmy. So don't (accidentally) upload a nude to lemmy. That would be bad 😱

Oh, and if you delete your account? It doesn't delete your uploaded photos. And good luck getting your instance admin to delete it; it requires a manual db query, api call, and — oh, none of this is documented? Welcome to my #fediverse #GDPR nightmare 💣🤯

solidsanek,

@MichaelAltfield Wait until you hear how all fedi software works lmao

@MichaelAltfield Are you seriously escalating things this hard for your own bug that didn't get prioritized over others?
Like sure it's a critical bug but at this point it could be considered harassement.

petrescatraian,

Unfortunately, I only own one phone. And it's a bit unrealistic to expect most people to have more than one phone (though I do hope one day we'll have a secure way to run dozens of distinct Android VMs on our laptops)

I think there are more people that have more than one phone, though. Some might still keep older devices as backup. But yea, you should not be expected to use more than one mobile device for all your needs.
