I've posted it before in the past but I'll post it again:

The single best thing I ever did with my #email account(s) was to set up a #filter for #MailingLists or #Subscriptions and have it skip the inbox and apply a label to it.

It catches 99% of things and makes me very happy to not have them in my inbox or notifications.

(Also makes them easy to find to unsubscribe etc)

Also I wish there were laws against using tracker URLs on unsubscribe links.

I'm unsubscribing, you can already record that in your stuff, don't make me have to disable my DNS-based ad-blocker just to tell you that I don't want to receive your shitty emails.

@brunty I’m at the point in my life where ANY friction, means you just get reported from spam. If I click unsubscribe, you get 1 more click from me as a confirmation. ANY other outcome means the spam button value proposition outweighs respecting people’s marketing lists.
