Do you have any weird gaming / sound memory combinations?
It was 1998. My brother got Tenchu for Christmas. He also got the Phil Collins' Greatest Hits CD. Which is why I can't play this without singing Easy Lover.
I recently designed a Frollo dress after Daisy's boutique opened, I don't think it's as good as my Jafar one, but it's a start. #DisneyDreamlightValley
If all #VideoGames were offered as free OR paid on Steam, how would you prefer them? Would you prefer to play all games for free or would you prefer to pay for them to have them delivered to you via Steam? Note: Free ones are installed solo. No launcher, no achievements, no cloud save, no friends list, no Steam year-in-review, no hours played counter, no Steam Workshop, no Steam cards, no game decorations in Steam points shop, but you don't have to pay for any game, ever.
@ChrisBoren I mean it's software... You can apply whichever license you want. There are a ton of GPL video games out there. Literally, a ton! It's just that almost none of them are on Steam. I only know about Mindustry and Battle for Wesnoth. Both are well crafted!
Started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum recently. I last played the game in 2015, and I've never played any of the sequels, so I figured I'd go back and give the original a go before continuing the series.
So far, it's held up pretty well! I'm not too great at the combat, but it's fun enough. Love the sort of Metroidvania style of the game—although maybe it's closer to The Legend of Zelda, with the different buildings acting as dungeons.
@LadyMarth01 You’re probably waaay past that point but one of my favorite moments in this game is when you enter the batcave for the first time. It’s just a one time thing but when it happens, it’s gorgeous. At least to me. Really just an effect but it’s so well done!
Also upgrade all your gadgets and keep button combo hints (or whatever they’re called) visible, those make combat way easier.
The following games are excellent, too. Larger in scale of map than this.
Hey Bandits! Hope you've all had a wonderful bank holiday Monday (if you're in the UK).
Sorry for the quiet one, today. I have been sinking myself into a family outing, but I have also been delving into Theme Park World and wanted to share some memories with you 🥰
@PixelBandits ...I still have this game, but haven't thought about it in forever. Think I picked it up because back then (& tbh even now) you rarely saw games of its sort on consoles!
I should revisit it now that I'm somewhat more patient, and willing to muddle through the finance stuff.
Remember enjoying it despite never really getting too far into it all.
@gmr_leon I'm not a huge fan of thr silliness compared to other titles like Roller Coaster Tycoon (with this one having dancing buildings and thins) but it was still great
Today will involve much #laziness! I'm planning to do some #coloring, maybe some #painting of a few 3D prints and sitting on the couch playing #videogames ☺️
Our livestreaming schedule for the week of May 26 - June 1 is up. We're back to our regular Final Fantasy IV: The After Years and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island streams. That said, Monday's livestream will start at 1PM ET.
