@gemelliz Many neighbourhoods in my Ontario small city have multi-units in them. Some parts of town are pure suburb, but some parts are great streets with three single-family houses, then a set of townhouses, another single, then a building of six apartments, and so on. They're nice areas of town.
Mixed works. This is about Doug and his developer buddies only wanting to build for richer people. He's not telling us what houses people want, he's telling us what PEOPLE he wants.

The premier of Ontario considers this an undesirable home and feels the "neighbours will scream blue murder" if the govt were to construct similar in residential neighbourhoods.
Mind you, he also thinks a "fourplex" is a "four to six story tower" 🤦
@gemelliz@monicarooney I think he knows what a fourplex is. He'd rather people see him as dumb than heartless and cruel. This is a common tactic among heartless and cruel people.
