My deceased maternal aunt was VP of Warner Bros long ago and the reason my family had an Atari 2600. Hollywood and the video game industry have had close ties since at least the 1970s and both are horrifically interwoven into the mercenary industrial complex as well.

Important to note that this is just a strike authorization for if they don't reach an agreement in talks, due to recommence later this month.
Honestly, it is very hard to defend the #gamesindustry I very much enjoy video games but I'm not a fan of how most publishers treat customers. Those idiots should be looking at Elden Ring and Balder's Gate 3 and taking notes. Back on point. I'm not shocked to learn they don't treat the actors well either. But give Bobby Kotick another few million because he's actually done something worthwhile. 👍
