Had to purchase a custom-ish eMMC adapter off of that scary retailer in China, and it took nearly three weeks to get here XD Also got a webcam for it, and excitedly set it up, but... I can barely see anything, because of course, webcams are pretty wide-angle. cc: @3DPrintingDad and other #3DPrinting friends

3DPrintingDad, 2 months ago @RL_Dane Shoot. Sorry you had to go through that. I'm glad you got it working again! 😁 This is why I choose printers that are user-serviceable: one can easily keep a printer working for will over a decade... If one can get into it.

RL_Dane, 2 months ago @3DPrintingDad Other than having a non-standard eMMC connector and a bit over-engineered hotend/extruder assembly, it's pretty user-friendly. Oh, and except for the fact that if you run apt-get upgrade you will brick it. XD Peak chinese manufacturer, here. lol

RL_Dane, 2 months ago @3DPrintingDad Yeah, it feels like it doesn't get much attention once it's released. A very rush-to-market-then-forget-it kinda product cycle. But hey, it's a total champ compared to my old Ender 3 ☺️

RL_Dane, 2 months ago @royal @brainofdane I think there are zoom webcams, but they're more pricey. I can always zoom the feed on my phone, but that doesn't help with the exposure being out of whack for what I'm actually focusing on. I wonder if there's some aftermarket telephoto lens I could just glue on and maybe combine with a pinhole to help focus.
