Does the sci-fi classic Alien have the best movie marketing campaign ever? (www.msn.com)

There’s a case to be made that the Xenomorph is the greatest movie monster ever conceived. It’s certainly among the most iconic. H.R. Giger, the Swiss artist who designed the title creature of Alien, took inspiration from Francis Bacon and Rolls-Royce, and emerged with a biomechanical killing machine that’s instantly...

I began to make the logic of the interaction of the cable with the protagonist. I don't want to make a rope that will wrap around objects. I probably add the cable to the inventory, and not drag it behind the character

inkican,

@jargon OMG - that'd be an awesome phone game. "'Where's my Water?' - meet 'Where's my LAN port!"

@maxim

inkican,

Kinda like Black Lion going 'and I'll form the head.' Like, didn't anyone else on Voltron go 'hey, I wanna be the head today!'

inkican,

Would that you contributed actual content to the community instead of only complaints about the content.

inkican,

I get ya, I hadn’t even really noticed since the movie was named in the box below.

Exactly. Content creators gotta eat too, so there are levels of 'please click on this so I can eat' that I'm prepared to accept in the landscape of 2024 digital information exchanges.

Rule 3: Mutual Learning and Collaboration
The federated internet community should serve as a platform for mutual learning and collaboration among its members. Encourage individuals to share their knowledge, insights, and experiences related to science fiction. Foster a culture of curiosity and intellectual growth, where members can engage in constructive dialogues and learn from each other. By embracing diverse perspectives and promoting collaboration, the community can become a vibrant hub for science fiction enthusiasts to expand their understanding of the genre.

Wanted a little of something familiar and fantastic before I pass out tonight. It's been too long, Total Recall from 1990. It's been too long.

#90sMovies #SciFi #TotalRecall

Intro scene of Total Recall, Arnie's dream on Mars on a TV in a dark room. Cat head in the way.

inkican,

@jake4480 How long's it been since I watched 'Total Recall?'

Two weeks!

inkican,

Has a 'Smokey and the Bandit' ring to it.

inkican,

Content creators gotta eat too - don't complain about necessary evils.

Dune proved that fans are as excited about sci-fi adaptations as ever before, but several iconic books still haven't reached the silver screen. (www.cbr.com)

Film sci-fi is often original, with stories that were made specifically for the screen, but there have also been many, many sci-fi adaptations. Many classic novels have been made into sci-fi movies, even previously thought unfilmable ones like Dune, but there are still many great sci-fi novels out there that have never made the...
