Windsor and Newton Series 7s were my first expensive brushes. I'm rocking Raphael 8404s right now though and I've been a lot happier.
I'd say that the Harder Steinbeck Infinity series are probably the "you've made it" of mini painting with lots of little tweaks and QoL features, but my Iwata Eclipse has been a perfect work horse for me and may be a "pinnacle" for mini painting as far as overall value.
Not sure you've made it over there yet, but feel free to join us on https://kbin.social/m/minipainting. Always love to see more work over there!
I released this a while ago now, but I hope you can enjoy them while I'm working on some new tunes! Redeem the codes here: https://mrperson.bandcamp.com/yum...
Not OP but you'll see that their user is actually @matzah@lemmy.blahaj.zone so they're a federated user plugging into kbin.social on a lemmy instance. Kbin doesn't work with Mlem. Kbin will need its own 3pa I believe.

Glad to see one of my favorite hobbies showing up here on kbin! Hopefully we’ll get to see the magazine grow! I’d be happy to submit something, but it might feel disingenuous since they would be older. Haven’t had time to paint in a while.
Right now, I’m playing the early access version of Baldurs Gate 3. I’m getting ready to put it down (frustrated: BG3 has the potential to be good, but without controller support, I’m getting really frustrated with the UI. ) and switch to Yakuza Like a Dragon. What are you playing now and what are you looking forward to...
My go-to right now is Monster Hunter Rise. Perfect pick up and play for 10 mins type of game. And since I pretty much play solo, I can suspend in the middle of a hunt with no worries.
How to set Carplay's default music app?
I have an an called BBC Sounds on my phone, which lets me stream BBC radio stations. I also use it in the car sometimes....
What piece of kit or setup represents the pinnacle of your hobby/profession?
Even if it's not expensive, Is there a high quality item every serious enthusiast owns?...
Hello Lemmy chiptune community! First post on here, so I'll share 25 free codes to my chiptune-hybrid EP, I hope you enjoy! (mrperson.bandcamp.com)

What song do you listen to when you are upset and want to calm down?
In my case I always like listening to "A whiter shade of pale", it always works.
OC Wasp from Marvel United
Isn't it ironic.... that we all left reddit because 3rd party apps were being killed off, and came to a place where there are no 3rd party apps.
edited to meet rule #3!

Going on a 5-6 hour flight. Game recommendation?
Looking for something that won't kill my battey and has some depth. I have Vampire Survivor but that get stale after about 30 minutes.
