    @Impossible_PhD I’ve read it now and the section about jaw surgery recovery really hit me hard, since that is the part I want done the most, I have no issues with my brow and I don’t think there’s much bone there for a surgeon to work with anyway - it’s already pretty flat. But the size of my jaw and chin really throw off the rest of my face for me, along with my nose to an extent

    @Impossible_PhD @NicolaElle you’re right, this hasn’t put me off at all! But it really brought to my attention things that I hadn’t considered too much. Btw, since you’ve met other FFS patients, is it rare to have no brow work done at all? It’s just not a problem area for how I perceive myself (which as you said, should always come ahead of “passing”, even though that is still a thing I’m concerned with)

    @Stoat @essjay there’s also Linux From Scratch, which isn’t even a distro (but there is a book with that name to help you), you start with the kernel and build up your own custom OS. Personally I’ve never gotten more hardcore than dabbling with Arch back in 2011 or so
