After the game starts, Link navigates through two screens to a screen with four Octoroks. He throws a boomerang at one to immobilize it and tries to stab it with his sword, but keeps missing. The Octorok then shoots a rock, knocking Link backwards into an open door and causing him to moonwalk into it. After the shopkeeper tells him to “Buy somethin’ will ya!”, he immediately leaves the shop.

Here’s my #NintendoSwitch #2023YearInReview. Despite playing a lot less this year, I still played the Switch more than I thought. Oh, and I ended up guessing my top game correctly! WarioWare, Super Mario Advance 4, and Kuru Kuru Kururin all got a lot of play on the GBA app, so I figured it would be at the top. Also, you can tell which month I really got into my Steam Deck and which month I was really sick. #NintendoSwitchOnline #GBA #SNES #SuperMarioBrosWonder

A-ha, overnight (for me) what used to be #Calckey did their major release and rebranding to #Firefish. Looks very tidy, and carries a lot of features many of us have been missing.

It is, of course, a fedi server alternative to Mastodon. Unlike Mastodon, it allows importing your post history if you move from another server, as well as your followers and follows. Worth a peek, whether you're a user or a would-be admin.

Mastodon can be so weird. My feeds are filled with lots of posts complaining about how and why people are doing mastodon wrong, how they should post, why they should change their server, shaming people for forgetting to add text to an image, calling people who haven’t deleted their twitter accounts Nazis, now followed by posts ripping on people trying Threads….all followed by posts wondering why people don’t seem to enjoy Mastodon as much as they think they should. I just can’t imagine why 🙄
