Imagine a black tube, 10cm diameter, 30cm tall, carved with one of these drawings and you put a light (a candle or a led) inside so that the drawing glows in the dark.

Which one you’d like the most?

What I love in my projects is that I’ll allow myself to wander and to follow every thing that catches my attention.

What is Japandi style?

In my quest for the perfect desktop organization I got caught up in reading about Japandi (again!)

Just a few notes.

While reviewing my workshop I took a pause to finish the Part2 that follows last week’s page of the Fragments of Days in the Life of xLontrax series.

In case you missed part1 just look in my profile page.

Another page of "Fragments of days in the life of xLontrax" .

I’m enjoying so much drawing these pages. It takes me hours (I’m definitely a slow-drawer) but it what I like the most about this storytelling style.

For the most part of my job I find myself right in the middle of this.
And I can understand and support both part.

What makes me laugh (and worry, a lot) is that nobody can understand that a trade-off is not a win-win.

A trade-off, in the large majority of the cases, is NOT a solution, it is only a temporary and short-sighted workaround where, maybe not immediately, everybody looses.

Just a thought

I’m always surprised how the PMI strategy by Dr. Edward de Bono (the father of Lateral Thinking) is so simple and extremely effective

I’m a sucker for simplicity

Particularly at work, there is no need to explain anything, you just go for it and everybody understand and follow the brainstorming

Stops emotional decision and clarify those "ambiguous gut feelings"

Saturday is the day I work on the newsletter.

Browsing in the past sketchnotes and the tons of loose notes I found this sketchcap (sketchnoters recap) of this post https://www.mindful.org/the-science-of-curiosity/

This was shared in this issue of the newsletter https://maurotoselli.substack.com/p/keep-the-creative-juices-flowing-issue-3-connecting-the-dots-975710

Well, I think it’s worth sharing it here too

The back of a 8 pages single sheet zine is always neglected.

It’s such a shame to waste all that space.

I made this mini poster to fill that void.

I tried to add some background color but, as usual, I like the b&w the most.
