I like this photo quite a bit, I was down in a gorge at Hocking Hills and looked up as the wind came through and stirred up a shower of golden leaves. Great hike!

More from Florida. The sun put on a show for us. I really like how the clouds make it seem like the sun is a planet with swirling rings, it gives it a feeling and a mood reminiscent of space games like NMS or Starfield

Saw a friend from last year at Clifton Gorge for my first visit of the year! The light was perfect, the water was fierce and gorgeous, and I got lucky enough to watch it get a catch! I saw it perk up and managed to switch my shutter speed just enough to catch the moment.

Funny how often my favorite picture from a hike isn't even one I would've put in my top 5 while I was out there. This one definitely fits that: I was out at Hocking Hills, and here I am loving a picture with no water in it at all. But despite that I like the depth, the rocks, and the light playing through the trees.

The nice thing about higher resolution on modern cameras is the ability to crop in quite a bit... and I don't even have one of those 40 or 60MP cameras!
