The fact that millions of people apply for an exam to gain access to education and only few hundred or thousand get the access will never cease to horrify me

I don't understand how in 21st century, post-internet people can still defend the notion of gatekeeping access to education via entrance exams

The way gatekeeping for access to education has been normalized and desensitised folks in accepting it as a way of life since centuries is astonishing

@impactology competition is inevitable bcs students compete not for information access, but for teachers' attention. Real-life human attention is precious and scarce and it has great impact on students' growth
