Old school Top Gear was more insane than I remembered, they actually put a nun in a monster truck and had her jump a couple of cars. Also Hammonds comment on all of it: If she messes up, she’ll be closer to god than she expected today 😂

Can't get the iPhone to show me all three, off to a good start today....

Starting to regret not switching with the last phone purchase more and more....

? Sometimes that is the only way you can look at it. My father was taken to intensive care on Thursday afternoon and today my sister was moved to the hospital due to after birth complications. Tuesday I was a happy man holding my nephew in my arms, today two of the people I care most about are in hospital and I can't do a thing. Guess that's life. Still sucks...

I visited the Apple store in Vienna today and here is something that annoyed me. In German, there are two ways to address a person, per "du" which is the personal way used for friends and family and per "Sie" the polite way to address someone you are not friends with and who is a grown up.

Every single employee of the store used the "du" with me even if I addressed them as "Sie", which is very impolite.

Also I might be getting old.....

I started to have a bit of trouble with my lung of late, spring season as an allergic. But I do like to monitor my SpO2 during that phase, given that due to asthma it tends to drop dangerously low and I only notice it late. (I am special in that way...)
Trouble is, I don't like wearing a smart watch, because I consider them ugly.

I have been using the garmin fitness band vivo smart 5 for a couple of days now and am happy to report it is doing fine for this job :-)

It is official, I am an uncle now :-)
My nephew was born 30 minutes ago after giving my sister a hard time since 1 am. But he and his mother are healthy and now recovering.
Looking forward to meeting him soon :-)

The downside of being a classic watch person, today I got my Tissot PRX back from service and repair after it crashed on the floor (I placed it on the boot of my car while working and the key opened the lid remotely).
I paid about half of what the watch cost originally because the movement was damaged and they had to realign a couple of things.

Then again, a smartwatch probably would have gone to the trash.

Maybe I should get a #Casio g-shock for these situations....
