🚨"Trump to speak at private CEOs meeting, after conviction."
Although COS Zients will attend (Pres Biden *at G7), #TFG will be there. Hopefully attendees understand that Pres Biden is better for business.
The meeting could draw all of the Business Roundtable’s members *>200 CEOs. It could prove to be a pivotal moment for TFG, who's been trying to reel in bus leaders to support & donate to his campaign -touting the idea of tax cuts-.
he'll promise more tax cuts and greater wealth and power.... it's all he has. So... try to bribe them like he did the oil companies. And maybe a few will bite.
“#Georgia Court of Appeals temporarily halted proceedings in #Trump case while it reviews a trial judge's ruling that allowed Fulton County District Attorney #FaniWillis to continue prosecuting the case.
The stay issued by the court applies only to Trump and the eight co-defendants who sought to have Willis and her office removed from the case because of an improper relationship she had with Nathan Wade, who served as a special prosecutor” #legal
“Judge Aileen #Cannon is again ripping up the court schedule in #Trump’s classified #documents case – pushing some of the legal questions that have been before her for months even further down the road.” #legal

As @davidfolkenflik has pointed out the Washington Post, the WSJ, Bloomberg News, CNN are all run by British CEOs now. We should be asking tough and loud questions about why in a country brimming with talented journalistic & business leaders our major news outlets feel compelled to hire leaders from outside the country.

We are facing a democratic crisis & a volatile political moment. I find it odd that we would not wish to draw from the U.S. talent pool that is most experienced & knowledgeable.

“You’ve chosen people with a very different culture from the Washington Post." —CEO Will Lewis was grilled today by Post staffers about the people he hired as top editors.
"They fear that he’s installing allies to consolidate power over an editorial vision they don’t have clarity on just months ahead of one of the most contentious election years in American history." https://www.notus.org/media/washington-post-shakeup-buzbee
Trump on Fox & Friends: "I'm gonna do the big deportation. The biggest ever ... you'll get rid of 10 really bad ones. And one really beautiful mother ... it's always gonna be tough, it's not gonna be easy ... the way you get rid of them is the local police."
he can... and the chaos that will ensure will crash the markets, banks and main street and leave America in a massive depression and a failed nation and likely war... and that's what his masters wants...
I'm sure he understands.. he just doesn't care... these little extremist nationalist Christians don't believe in accountability to the law. They don't believe they error and if they do it's in the name of god and excusable.
