@PupTrash okay she’s saddled particularly with a lot of “why? because always been like this” choices and brute forcing it is a little tougher than some others as consequence, it’s very powerful but not super friendly

I like this Lemokey v3 mechanical keyboard. I'm realizing though that I use the number pad a lot and I'm missing it 😂

I wish I could use the macro keys (or other keys) with #HomeAssistant. This must be doable. Anyone done it? I'd like it to work in both Windows and Linux.

Would be nice if these could maintain a Bluetooth connection to multiple devices at a time so I could use something else as a ln HA key BT receiver, that way all HA specific keys would work no matter what computer I'm using

also you should be able to filter hotels by whether or not they have one or more of those goblin entrance/exits so I do not have to walk past the human being at the desk 4700 times

I feel that I have a counter allotted to me at check in to any hotel which is the firm maximum number of times I am allowed to walk past the front desk and if I hit zero then somebody types “BEWARE: BIG TIME DOOR USER: ALWAYS USING THE DOOR” on my account and suddenly I am blacklisted from all hotels that participate in the credit score system they use to protect against people like me

If the thermostat in your Hilton looks like this and doesn’t do jack shit, it’s because it’s configured to only run when its extremely faulty presence sensor detects you doing light aerobics in your room - it’s easy to fix though!
Remove the cover screw with a Philips head
Hit the CONFIG button and switch modes with the F/C button until you hit something like “E-5” which is Bullshit Mode
Flip it down to E-0 to disable the presence sensor
Hit on/off to save then turn it back on!

this is the real villain of the configuration of Hilton thermostats that says “don’t you dare turn on any of the heating or cooling functionality until this many minutes of continuous human moving around have been detected” which really fucks things up when you tend to use hotel rooms like I do - walking into them and sitting down - instead of fuckin whoever is out here pacing back and forth in a Hilton room for exactly five minutes or more to trigger Guest Occupancy Mode
