On this day in 1995, two of the greatest RPG series began, with the release of Tales of Phantasia on the SNES, and Suikoden on the PS1.

While Konami may have seemingly abandoned it, and Bandai-Namco lost the essence of what made them good, I will always hold both series near and dear.

I've been using an old GameFAQs guide so far, but just discovered I already own the official Chrono Cross strategy guide.

I love these books. I swear the quality of the artwork and character renders looks better than the remaster. I bet Square lost all these assets.
