On this day in 1995, two of the greatest RPG series began, with the release of Tales of Phantasia on the SNES, and Suikoden on the PS1.
While Konami may have seemingly abandoned it, and Bandai-Namco lost the essence of what made them good, I will always hold both series near and dear.
