Have you emailed Target yet? It takes like 2 minutes. Demand they reinstate LGBTQ merchandise and not give in to right-wing terror.

It's inevitable that throughout my career, I've watched as my work gets replaced and updated by others. It's rare to be asked to redesign old work, which is why I leapt at the chance when @thunderbird asked if I could design a contemporary update to the Thunderbird logo. The one I designed 19 years ago!

    • investigated by officials charged with studying extremism and terrorism
    • shut-down of their web site
    • criminalisation of donations to them

    Rely on video search traffic? Heads-up. I shared an example of a drop on Twitter, which Barry included in his post (it's also below). I also heard back from John Mueller this morning that it wasn't just a reporting issue. It apparently was an actual rankings issue -> Google Search Bug Resulted In Less Traffic To Video Content Between May 4-17 via @rustybrick

    The data show there's still a risk of long-term health damage from even a mild case of Covid. So I try to spend what I consider my 'risk budget' wisely. This helps explain why:

    "I got long COVID from Omicron, because I was triply vaccinated, public health told me it was mild, and I was convinced I was suffering professionally from lockdown," Chris J. Maddison said on Twitter. "Turns out, in retrospect, my risk was 4%. I'm a statistician. 4% is a catastrophic risk, and I regret gambling."
