The tendency, when we have something nice, is to squirrel it away. Like the good China, the good towels. We need a special reason to use them. But aren’t we special? Don’t we deserve the “good” things?! So I’m using my sparkly Esterbrook to simply check things off my to do list this morning, and it’s making me happy. @jezlyn@Brad that's a massive pity, considering the price of the pen itself. It's kind of offputting to charge a premium (yes I know the design is unique) but not get the basic writing function down pat. I'll have to investigate the other rainbow pen makers like Montegrappa and Monteverde I suppose.
@jezlyn@Brad unfortunately the return policy thing is probably gonna be an issue, and AFAIK none of the pen stores in Singapore stock Laban. I have many many more pretty pens to go after though!
@GarryEves Writers Blood looks much bloodier and therefore appealing than Oxblood if you ask me. Though I personally use Noodlers Black Swan in English Roses as my ‘bloody’ ink.
@GarryEves haha yes, getting Noodlers in bottles is a bad idea then - he fills to the very brim. That, and you may want to consider his politics, which I didn’t realize until long after I had BSER.
Oh, so this is how you follow hashtags/keywords on #misskey . But it seems to only populate new posts from after you configure the antenna, so no backscrolling.
