@Kotking@arknights lovely! I actually really hate CC but instead of skipping it, I just used Uncle Kyo’s easy clear guides just to catch up on the skins that I missed previously. My challenge content of choice is IS. I’m currently progging IS3 SW6.
@resurrexia I just got most of the meta units and thought when Collab event started... why not try nicheknights? I always wanted to use Ch'alter with Ash combo and only now I raised Lumen, Aurora, Cantabile and Toddifons + borrowing Horn and done ... almost every day CC with Niche only. So I gone from Kyo please help to if you need help go search Kyo! Well if you need help with kbin/Mastodon or just chat about Arknights then mention me! I gone for wild ride and my follow list are AKs artists.
@Kotking oh yeah I’m not new to fediverse either. Have been on Kbin ever since the Reddit exodus. Unfortunately certain niche communities haven’t/can’t move.
@resurrexia Oh same , There was a lot of bad and ugly things brought out during #redditblackout , Like how Shithead said I like to listen to my Buddy 🍈 ! And many many details. I was like well never again reddit and joined R/Arknights on discord and we started Magazine and I try some things with Fedi. Btw Thanks to :melon: a lot of artist jumped to Mastodon/Misskey and so on. You can't follow artist from Misskey due...default setting=no federation. But you can follow fan artists!
@resurrexia Well it's not that it's not federate... you can copy and paste link and then like and boost... It's the follow aspect what isn't working... like I added everyone and they still in Pending .. here example go follow @ namie @misskey.io without spaces and refresh page... you will get what I am at. And Misskey.io is only by invite right now.
@resurrexia I can't find via google anything concrete... I just saw from others posts and someone mentioned something akin they have to flip setting in their account or else they won't get follows from other instances... Gotta have Misskey account or ask someone who use Misskey. I know for fact that I can directly boost post but can't follow so there is that( Like when you see🔒 you can understand that it's in waiting to approve list. But I didn't see lock on Namie or some others.
@Kotking hmm, looks like I’ll have to try and get in myself to see what exactly is going on there. Now the question is, where am I gonna get the invite from? I’m now in the Misskey Discord but it’s probably rude af to start invitebegging lmao
Now that I have seen more of Misskey I am actually inclined to move there just for the emojis. THAT is what I loved about Japanese blog platforms back in the 2010s.
@resurrexia Well you can emigrate from Mastodon to Misskey when you get an invite. It's migrating from Misskey to Mastodon is a problem. I also thought about going to Misskey but I won't even bother people for invite, too shameful. I was like well it's hard to get from Misskey posts but you can do it... until I saw that Mastodon have limit of 4 images... and Misskey not... Well I will follow you and look at pinned post I have. Until you go Misskey having a list not a bad idea!
@resurrexia Yeah already bookmarked for references later. Will stick to mastodon for a while, but if we still will vibe together will ask for invite to Misskey too. Right now want to make a wiki page on Hubzilla with tips and tricks for New Mastodon/Kbin and how to interact between different systems. As I get alot of information but see how many people struggle even to get first steps in Fediverse.

@Kotking ah yessss the artists are what I am sorely missing. I’ve followed everyone on my twitter on their pixiv/poipiku/tumblr but sadly not a single artist has moved to fediverse. Only the programmers and devs have.
