Ik mis waarschijnlijk iets, maar op een containerpark van Ivago geef je (bij het betalende deel) aan de ingang in wat je gaat dumpen (vb gratis tot 500kg), en dan heb je toegang tot alle containers (ook $$$ per kg). Geen ticket of marker welke categorie je koos. Misschien dat iemand rond loopt met een lijst van nummerplaten?

Birthdays are coming up and my eldest wants a walkie talkie to chat with her sister in the weekend.
But since they are 60km apart during the week I'm thinking of a dedicated PTT device that connects them over the internet (wifi connection).
No smartphone since the youngest isn´t always allowed t have her phone in the dorm room.

So, tips welcome.

Just spent 10 minutes searching for an imaginary cat in our garage. The door had been open all day (construction work) and I suddenly found this cat-like pattern on the floor. Could not close the door and trap that cat.

Turns out I had stepped into a small drop of wet cement with my Birkenstock sandals and their wrinkly sole pattern 🤷‍♂️

@metallcorn @bart sorry I'm used to ctrl-c / ctrl-v for so many years, the extra feature should be another key combo

For example when I copy lines from VScode to a mail, the rest of what I type after it also has a black background, but I only see that if I'm not using dark mode on the email client. No I'm not going to change every incoming mail to plain text either.

Want paste with formatting, make that ctrl-shift-v

(zou me niet verbazen met de onbestaande kennis van journalisten als het op techniek aankomt)

    another server problem with flukso 😭

    while the current data is available over MQTT, I have had a flukso for 12+ years and most of its history is on the flukso server (before my self-hosting) and still used it for long term trends

    let's hope Bart isn´t pulling the plug

    none of his https://github.com/flukso repo's have had activity in the past 4 years tho

    Roughly 2 weeks ago my bank screwed up (technically) and a paypal transfer bounced, causing a negative balance.

    It's still not resolved today, because the transfer is so slow the exchange rates changed and my balance remains slightly negative.

    Support says I should just try again.

    Sorry, it's 2024, they're stuffing AI in everything but resolving this has to be done manually??

    When created their new logo with :// in it, the team behind reached out to me and asked if I had any objections since already was using :// in our logo.

    I did not object - I approved of it. I think it validated our logo choice and I am jealous they have a name that can hold :// integrated the way they do.

    (I was employed by Mozilla at the time)

    Short update. Settled on 6 eggs and it's currently quite cozy in there

    Short clip showing a tit on its nest in a nestbox, cleaning feathers, making itself comfortable on top of the 6 eggs, and ending with it tucking its head under a wing
