Made it to 2022's , which was teased in the various X-titles, but I didn't realize this was another of Comics massive crossovers.

My first wargame, at around age eight, was Fighting Ships. My dad ordered it out of the back of a comic and we played it on the floor of my room.

After high school, my play became more sporadic. But in the past few years I've gone back down the rabbit hole, first with 40k and Kill Team and now with a push to play more block/counter games.

I also just picked up the book Warfare in the Medieval World, which I'm looking forward to tucking into as my bedtime reading.

@martinralya I'm envious. I remember seeing those ads, but my dad never bought or played the game.

That said, he did get me into model rocketry, so it probably all balances out in the end. Probably. :)

@Da_Gut Thankfully, it went to a distribution hub in Pennsylvania. If it had gone to New Jersey first, I might be waiting for the heat death of the universe.

Shipping between PA and NJ is not great. It's like there's some weird space/time barrier located over the Delaware River.

Fun (and exhausting) day at Newark Liberty International Airport where Seeing Eye puppy raisers from across PA and NJ converged for a real-world training session.

We went got to see an airport fire truck, bomb-sniffing dogs on a test run, go through standard airport security, walk through terminal C, and get on (and off) a plane. Thanks United and EWR!
