    @pixiecata I like MAC's Ruby New Powder Kiss lippie--glides on really smoothly, but not that transfer-proof. Their Powder Kiss Liquid line is a huge disappointment, though, as it just seems like melted lipstick that's sticky and doesn't stay put.

    Nah, I beg to differ.

    I used to be stoked about Marvel movies. Every time there was a new one coming out, hubby and I would make a beeline for the cinema on the first day of release. But saturating the theaters with superhero flicks made us grow tired of them quickly. They're now a dime a dozen, with nothing novel to boast anymore.

    I'd still watch them, sure, but on streaming sites and not on the big screen, unlike before.

    Found a new researcher who'll help us with our blog. This is the third one, so I hope this works out for real.

    The first one ghosted us, as in no reply to any of our messages when we were following up on the status.

    The second one committed and seemed eager at first, only to end up telling us he couldn't do it...a few days past the deadline.

    @rLok @pixiecata Jumping in: this is the same issue with older men going gaga over underage Japanese idols. Tbh, it feels disturbing.

    Appreciating the music is one thing, but fangirling over teens when you're a middle-aged man is weird, to say the least. Or maybe that's just me?

    @pixiecata @rLok My husband and I have discussed this, and he also feels weird about the whole Jpop idol fandom consisting of dads and uncles, hahaha!

    @tikistitch @pixiecata @rLok Members of those groups, if I'm not mistaken, are of age. Jpop idols are as young as 13, 14 y/o, so seeing middle-aged men oggling them and attending their concerts is creepy.
