One of my favorite lessons of the past few years is that almost ANYTHING can be fixed.

Machines can be repaired.

Fursuits can be stitched.

Relationships can be mended.

Estranged relatives can be de-stranged.

Even if someone else doesn't know something can be fixed, maybe you can help them fix it.

SO MUCH value is just thrown out or written off these days. And I'm not just talking about monetary value.
Learn to repair, learn to maintain, you will thank yourself a million times over

Another facet of my Make Sig Better directive is wanting to get better at not letting messages stack up, and to reply to them sooner.

I know it’s pretty common among my peers to have a hard time triaging incoming messages, I often leave many of mine unread because I’m busy/not in the right headspace, only to not return to them for days or weeks due to nerves and guilt.
I’m all ears :begyeen: :ms_bat: for any tips or thought processes that has helped anyone dealing with a similar problem.

I want to stop leaving my friends unread for days! I want them to know they’re important to me and that’s why I’m waiting to reply to them until I can give them the attention they deserve!

Personally, I'd dig having advanced post formatting using Markdown. I post enough links that I'd like to embed in text, or use bulleted lists or block quotes

I have made a VERY quick and dirty tool to check if people you follow on mastodon have corresponding bridgyfed bridged accounts.

Right now it's literally just a thing you run in terminal with node, but I might put some more work into it later to make it prettier
