@derthomas Enough to look forward to. Especially the Dimmu Borgir and Opeth journeys will be an experience. I’d suggest listening to the albums as a whole starting at the start of the band.

Though I find Dimmu took a nosedive to become a stereotype of themselves. Opeth has always kept reinventing their sound, though sadly, they left their metal sound behind years ago.

@derthomas Have a lot of fun with Hellripper! Last time I saw them, they, ehm, ripped! Such a fun band, so much energy, kind of an outlier within the black metal genre.

@HailsandAles Can I recommend the Dutch avant-garde black metal group Laster (Slander) to you? They call it obscure dance music, and it is way out there on the experimental scale, but it grooves when it does and it rocks like no other. At other moments the music is a whole disjointed mess and it still works.
