If you do want an "app" then @Tusky is pretty good too. It's my fall back option (it has full features support which was useful especially when Elk was a reality early Alpha).
Literally the only thing keeping me on windows for my home PC is video game drm. I hope the #steamdeck and other desktop Linux users promote better compatibility moving forward. I'd love to try new distros on my home PC
What's the last #tactics game you played? (if it was #fireemblem engage then please, tell me the one before that) I'm trying to get into something new. +Points if it's on sale on #steam atm.
Does anyone know what I can do to help #promote#mastodon to those around me? I think the idea of the #fediverse is much more secure and open (at the same time) than having all these large corporations farming data constantly. #wondering
@kero
There's nothing keeping large companies from farming data on Mastodon tho.
Those companies are totally unethical to begin with, so the terms of use of a small federated server is actually harder to enforce. Unless somehow the community finds a strong legal backer e.g. the EU.
BlueSky or Meta can possibly sue Google for farming their (actually our) data. Giants vs giants fighting may still cause us to lose. :meowcrying:
So I guess this will qualify as my #introduction
I'm 30(m) and I'm into just about everything you'd expect. (I'm here aren't I?) I like technology, anime, manga, video games and a good time. I like seeing things that I normally wouldn't be able to. I live in the Eastern US and wish to travel to Japan. I hope to learn more and more about the culture and I'm slowly learning Japanese. Please be patient as I learn the platform. I hope to gain tons of new friends and have lots of conversations.
My favorite series that I've discovered recently is 'Don't Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro' I don't know what it is about it, but it's great! I binged the manga in less than a week (which is blazing to me). And I'm almost through the first season dubbed and I'm going to go back and watch it subbed.
