This is going to sound dumb...

I've wondered for years why I couldn't send emoji in text messages (MMS).

Quite by accident, I've discovered that, all this time, I could. All I had to do was press, and hold, the enter button on the AOSP keyboard. This raises the emoji selector.

Why did no-one tell me?

The 1970s were such a mad time. There’s a story about my dad punching his boss at work (I guess in some drunken argument). Anyway, his boss got sacked and my dad was promoted?!

I tend to fall on the side of ‘violence in the work place bad’ so it’s all rather odd.

DJ gig last night was fun. Sadly, they have acoustic problems in that place. They have this really nice Klipsch Heresy 4 speaker setup with a sub but it's so lovely in there in the high end. It sounds like the warehouse it is.

    Legislative approach - corps are forced to share profits

    Worker organising approach - cultural workers withdraw their labour to force concessions and/or invest in cooperative models

    Consumer choice approach - fans buy more stuff directly from artists

    Urgent request: has anyone got a MP3 player that is powered by standard batteries (e.g. AA, AAA)? It'd need to be posted to an address in the UK in the next week.

    The producer and singer of this track came out as a trans women later in life and went by the name Nini Nobless. Sadly she passed away from cancer at the age of 74 in August 2023.

    Absolute stomper of a track and so tender and sexy and queer. They played it at the last Beauty and the Beat down in London and I was tripping so hard, I felt like I was in heaven (either the religious one or the nightclub).

    Bought it on vinyl and it just arrived today. Going to spin this one at every opportunity. I really feel it deeply.
