Sky Bistro, a restaurant at the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff National Park, Alberta. Great food and great view. I took the gondola up, but supposedly there's also a hiking trail.

During a day trip to Drumheller from Calgary, I stopped by the ghost town of Wayne to have dinner at this saloon, just so I could say that I've eaten in a ghost town. I applied a charcoal sketch effect in post processing.

One of many ancient architectural wonders I visited during a trip to Paris is Saint Chapelle. The detail is astounding, at least to me, since we don't have nearly as much of this in Ontario. Here's one of the stained glass windows.

One Saturday afternoon when I was bored, I took a drive up to the Luther Marsh, because why not? It was a different place to explore... but I neglected to bring bug spray. The mosquitos seemed to think I was extra tasty that day and wouldn't leave me alone.

Spiller's Cove near Twillingate, Newfoundland was a beautiful hike, and not too long - it was maybe 2 kilometers each way. There was no one else around. I'm not sure if that's normal or if I just got lucky, but I wasn't complaining.

Sunset over Lake Muskoka in Gravenhurst, Ontario. I spent a week there in 2020 just to get away for a bit - worked "from home" during the day and explored in the late afternoon/evening. I ended up sitting here on these rocks for a couple of hours leading up to the sunset, just enjoying the scenery.
