Am absolutely in awe, not only of the scope, but of the clever and often frankly bizarre things people are already creating. Especially given it's only been out in the wild a week and a half.

Meanwhile I'm still bolting an occasional fan onto a raft or glider... 🤣

(Different focus, I guess. Still in "wandering and exploring" mode mostly. Finding odd stuff and marking it to return another day to look closer. Though I did do the Wind Temple a couple of days ago.)

It's World Goth Day (22 May), so for those who celebrate, I'm kicking off today's soundtrack with 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' by Bauhaus.

Yes, it's a bit of a cliché, but also an eternally brilliant track, which I was reminded of whilst watching Lockwood & Co recently.

Loved Adventure SO much! Used to play Game 3 (with the randomised object placement) over and over for hours at a time. In my head I was seeing something far grander - genius game for the era.

I haven't even Zelded that much today, just the one evening session. The weather was actually nice so I didn't want to shut myself up indoors so spent a lot of the day outside. Also moved on with the necessary process of emptying the potting shed and chucking a load of stuff away as part of the process leading to the cleaning and upgrading of the entrance room now that the pinballs are gone.

My youngest has monopolised the game all weekend, so I've done 2-3 hours each late Friday and Saturday night and that's been it.

Been avoiding watching him play too much as want to experience a lot of it myself for the first time, but did think of you and @gilesgoat when I saw he'd gotten a side quest involving investigating some missing white goats... 😉

Can't bring myself to dispose of my CDs. I have a periodic pruning and get rid of another 10 or so each time, but that still leaves an estimated 600-700 in huge piles in the study...

I've even added more in the last year, mainly cos of a couple of remastered Ozrics boxed sets. In my defence I have given away/donated any previously-owned originals that were then doubled-up. And the sets come in a nice hardcover book format that looks cool all together on the shelves. 😎

And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming: 'Holy Jesus.
