Opening a desktop folder on Android (Pixel) has an animation for moving the folder name up slightly to fit the folder flyout. It lacks such animation for closing the folder, making the name snap back jarringly.

You will now not unsee this.

turns out that my bank, without my consent, has been charging the wrong accounts :/

this now means that instead of using a shared account i have with my partner, it's charged only my savings. my partner now owes me a surprise 500 EUR 😬

NEVER assume I want you to make a decision for me, NEVER make a decision with bullshit AI that I don't want

the worst is, I cannot trust their card statements either, because they report funny, i'm getting increasingly more nervous for doing my accounting :/

So, what can be done when it comes to Stack overflow AI shit? Is there any way to boycott this? I'm already not using the sites anymore, but all my answers are there obviously. I'm in the EU for what it's worth. Aside from getting banned which I don't care about, I guess it's too late now, right?

@eniko In a Pre-Caffeinated state I read this as "the current state of MSX development" and thought wow, I know people who can tell.

In hindsight, I do follow some devs still producing MSX games, so maybe I'm biased.

This exchange reminds me of the debate I had with Jeff Atwood on whether or not servers should use ECC memory a decade ago. Jeff said no and I disagreed and said yes in https://danluu.com/why-ecc/.

At the time, there was one argument that could've, theoretically, been overturned by progress: Jeff argued that commodity non-ECC memory was becoming more reliable and was highly reliable. This was not true at the time, and it turns out this still isn't true a decade later.

@AnaStanescu22 @luboganev and don't hesitate to see a cardiologist. The recovery time after exercising and such is important, and they often measure all that in a single visit (usually by making you ride a bicycle)
