@unity @askfedi_de Wenn du ohne iOS auskommst gibt es als Alternative auch noch QOwnNotes das etwas mächtiger ist und trotzdem mit Nextcloud synced.

Not sure about Sega-wide. I still really like a lot of older Sega games. (especially around the Dreamcast era. Sonic Adventure 2 is one of my favourite games)

But I don't think Sonic R is a great game either when I tried it. Racing did not feel all that good.

A #Canonical employee reported some out-of-tree code broke after something internal was renamed recently in #Linux 5.15.y – and as expected was told this is no regression at all, as the #LinuxKernel does not have a binary kernel interface, nor does it have a stable kernel interface:

Using a chopstick to hold my hair up was much easier than expected :blobcatcomfaww:

My first attempt yesterday held for an hour while walking around the house until I took it out. Third try today held from 13:00 until I took it out at 16:30. I was even getting in and out of my truck repeatedly and the chopstick, sticking out above my head, caught against the top of the truck door a couple times. Everything stayed in place though :neofox_comfy:

Buying like 5 sticks meant for holding your hair up seems much more worthwhile than buying, losing, and rebuying hairbands every year or so, especially when the chopstick/bun was much more comfortable than a ponytail :bunthink:

@OutofPrintArchive I remember being asked to audience test the commercial shortly before launch as a kid. (In return for candy 😄)

I totally said I wouldn’t buy the game and that it looked bad.

Then I played it at a friends house who got it for his birthday at some point and fell in love. 😄

Can’t really offer any deep thoughts on this one as I played Tekken 1 in the arcades and bought it day one on PSone. Same with 2. But after that, I got a Saturn and thus a ton more options for fighting games and lost track of the series and only enjoyed it very casually.

One thing that baffles me is how Tekken 8 can even be on the list at this point. There’s no logic in that at all.
Not to mention TTT 1 being so far ahead of TTT2 on there. 🤯

@danjac One big issue I often see is people who don’t say where the hell they are located. I contacted one person about this early on and they reacted rather testy about being asked. So I no longer do. All jobs I can recommend are (mostly) full remote, yes, but Germany only. So I need to know the country people live in at keast.
