In the early 13th century Hadmar III and Heinrich III formed the infamous "Hounds of Kuenring" who were robber nights and would raid ships along the Danube.

#EightBitBangers is too good of a theme and I have too many wonderful memories of our #NES to not participate.

The first ever game I played on our NES was "River City Ransom" or "Street Gangs" as it was called in Austria.

The first act of the day was an Austrian band called #Dusk. Spoiler alert: they were my discovery of the evening.

My first ever concert was back in 2001 when I saw Linkin Park on their first international tour.

They were supported by two bands, however I don't remember any songs of the first one. Turns out it was #LinkinPark themselves dressed like Slipknot just making some noises.

This year there was an album released that reminded me a lot of Rush, who were beyond a doubt one of the most creative bands in history.

Now the album I am choosing is not very high up on my AOTY list, however, it is done with a lot of creativity which is inspiring to the listener.
