Super random tip, but I impulse bought a box of these for a paint project about a year ago and I immediately fell in love with them. If you need disposable rags for hobby/house projects, I highly recommend trying these. They don’t fall apart at all, even when soaking wet and you can use them like any cloth rag.

Of course you can just use an actual rag, but sometimes (especially with paints) you know you’ll just throw it in the trash when you’re done and these are fantastic for that.

@Aywren a few years back I stopped reading all gaming news and paying attention to most upcoming games. If something catches me eye and it’s already released I’ll pick it up, but if it’s not out yet I just don’t pay attention. I’m much happier for it.

Not that I miss all the news but I only really see the stuff other people boost.

There are of course exceptions, such as Dawntrail. But it truly is the exception for me these days.

@Aywren I honestly don’t know what my tipping point was. It just kinda happened one day and it wasn’t a conscious decision.

If I had to try to pin it down, I think it was all the sequels coming out from AAA developers and then on the flip side all the early access junk being put out by indie developers. That somehow turned into me just buying what I wanted when it caught my eye, no matter the age. Avoiding hype etc.

The natural continuation of that was to not follow the press and drama too.

@capriciousvisage arbitration as an option can be a good thing, but forced arbitration is just all kinds of bullshit. I’ve given up on opting out at this point. There’s just too many mailing that need to be done. EULAs are such a joke.

Anyways. Thanks for the heads up. I saw the notification the other day but it literally popped up mid conversation so I just dismissed it and forgot about it. Such a scummy dark pattern.

I did not want to, I thought of every reason not to... but I did it, I cleaned my fridge.

I did not fully clear out the doors. I grabbed the obvious old/expired stuff, but I didn't empty and wipe them down. A project for later, or another day.
