WorkersDefenseAlliance,

Enough promised documentation and defense may help deter or slow down ' rate of destruction of the only homes people here have. No would ever happen if were always provided, but even a week's reprieve makes a big difference in this weather. Please spread the word in and stop Frey's murderous led approach to

A new Nenookaasi location appeared after the eviction on Tuesday. City Officials spoke publicly yesterday about being MORE aggressive and brutal about not allowing any more encampments to form. Currently drones, city vehicles, and MPD are circling 2213 16th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404.

Community presence & de-escalation is needed.

WorkersDefenseAlliance,

At this time they’re not letting people in but if you try to sneak through the alleys between 16th and 17th, you might be able to get into the back gate

We need to let go of the nation-state conception of safety before it kills more people.

Capitalism doesn't exist without cops, part 5,826:

Corporate venture capital funded food delivery robot company used by Uber in Los Angeles developed a partnership with the police department given that their surveillance-with-a-side-effect-of-food-delivery rovers are 'expensive to manufacture' and, as they menace pets and children and block sidewalks, 'care deeply' 'that we are not provoking responses among local residents.'

Therefore "employees of Serve repeatedly have asked the LAPD to help it prevent people from attacking its robots," @jasonkoebler documents— and makes a good case that the cops want to increase their panopticon with the robot cameras.

THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING at 7am only hours away

Grab your bike (or scooter or shoes) and help defend the Wall of Forgotten Natives and nearby camps that have faced continual destruction by the #Minnesota Department of Transportation at and #Minneapolis #mayor Frey's #PublicWorks

WorkersDefenseAlliance,

Report of 20 state troopers on Franklin.

WorkersDefenseAlliance,

#Minnesota state #police are handing out notices of #eviction TOMORROW at the Wall of Forgotten #Natives

Continuing #genocide against #unhoused #NativeAmerican relatives in #Minneapolis instead of #LandBack or #Housing

WorkersDefenseAlliance,

The madness continues.

Look at this party invitation.

The #violence from the #state is ceaseless.

Unless you show up and outnumber the #police two to one or better.

Here at the #WallOfForgottenNatives people stake out space on visible unused #land to demand suitable support and housing and the state preposterously claims all needs are met and threatens anyone who remains alive, visible, resisting erasure.

WorkersDefenseAlliance,

At some point these people need to stop letting themselves be used as the rationalization that constant #displacement of people who are OBVIOUSLY not receiving sufficient "advocacy", "outreach", or "shelter"

They need to say their names being evoked every #eviction is not OK and take a stand against the violence.

WorkersDefenseAlliance,

Please share! From folks at the Wall of Forgotten Natives, pending an eviction (notice served today, see above)

WorkersDefenseAlliance,
WorkersDefenseAlliance,

Note MNDOT will not be answering calls until 8am and does not take voice messages because they are not here to serve us they are here to brutalize us if we are unfortunate enough to be unhoused.

Tomorrow!

Critical Mass Minneapolis is back! You can read about the mission at https://imgur.com/a/p00968a but the short of it is that we'll gather at the former Quarry encampment site on the far end of the home depot parking lot. We intend to bring attention to the dangerous precedent set by Minneapolis Public Works and MN DOT resources being used to sweep encampments while the streets in NE minneapolis continue to be wildly unsafe for pedestrians, handicapped folks, and bicyclists alike. just because we're rated among the best cities for recreational bicyclists doesn't mean the mission of Critical Mass is complete.

meet at the quarry around 4pm, rolling by 4:20. arrive sooner if you want to help skillshare how to cork intersections or learn about co-organizing the next ride!
