Scott is well-known for really not letting people film his performances. He's pretty aggressive about it. There are so few online over the last couple of decades compared to others that many younger people are really unfamiliar with him since YouTube, etc is the primarily way the younger generations learn these days.
any guitarists out there that love playing metal? i haven't played in a decade and don't have my old les paul or schecter hellraiser where i am currently.
looking to buy a new guitar and some effects pedals that are capable for metal. going to mostly just play into my headphones or PC for recording.
any recommendations on the latest and greatest?
(i love invent animate, spiritbox, erra, while she sleeps, and spiritworld)
@valkyrie I don’t play much metal these days, but if I was with a $5k budget with the plan to play headphones/home recording I’d buy an ESP guitar, an IKM ToneX amp modeling pedal and a Line6 multi FX processor… but that’d be me.
@samvarma And the album description certainly didn't hurt: "Dayton redefines himself once again with The Hard Way Blues, a blues-based rock record produced by Grammy winner Shooter Jennings. Inspired by longtime influences like '70s-era Bob Dylan, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Mance Lipscomb, the album balances some of the sharpest songwriting of Dayton's career with loud guitar riffs and amplified attitude.
