Here's a challenge. Talk to at least one different person IRL a week about socialism or communism. It can be about anything. Working class struggles, free healthcare/education, revolution, anything. We can no longer relegate our activity solely to the internet. As useful as the internet is, real change can only be made by going outside and interacting with people in real life. Go! When unionizing your workplace, be careful which workers you decide to talk to depending on how hostile your workplace is to unionizing efforts. Only talk to workers who you trust enough to tell your plans of unionizing to, and try to have these conversations in areas where you aren't being watched by higher-ups or security cameras, or, preferably, during non-working hours if possible.

Marx and Engels envisioned this as the final stage of historical development, following capitalism and socialism. In a true communist society, the state would "wither away" because it would no longer be needed to mediate class conflicts or manage economic resources.
