Surprising experiment (2023).

The color change creates a surprising snowy-like landscape, perfect for the #ArtAdventCalendar

A bit disappointed, however, by the #polaroid i-Type batch I currently use, as the black appear greenish for a while, and I prefer a real dark black.

It is not always about success.
Two attempts. Two failures.
The first one : to perform an emulsion lift on tracing paper as suggested. It does not work because the tracing paper don’t stay flat and curl when drying, despite I used a thick paper, 400g/m2, to avoid this problem.
The second one : to perform an emulsion lift 2 hours after the print. The emulsion is stuck to the white layer, making the lift tricky. So, perform the lift within 1 hour…

I am truly amazed with how the creativity is enhanced by the digital processes available on a multipurpose device like an iPhone 8. Let me be clear : as an analogic photographer, I am very aware of all the costs and difficulties, from the shooting to the darkroom. The digital era solves them (quite) all, in a finger snap.
Baffling.
And enjoyable 🤩
