Within 5 years Dell will be a dead zombie company, bought out by someone who will nominally sustain the brand name for a short while. Dell is going the way of Gateway.

It is intentionally making its own workers hate the company.

I've demo'd another song. It's by Abbey Lincoln and I stopped in my tracks when I first heard it playing in a bookstore in the 90's. I bought the album (Turtle's Dream) on the spot.

I've played this song on repeat during many rough times over the years. It centers me.

I gather there's some controversy, but I absolutely love this new record made with parts from all four of them, based on a composition on rescued tape from John.

I love how it conveys genuine Beatles but through the style of modern production: lush and layered sounds and textures, more compression than was used in the 70's, and bringing out John's voice. It's also just a great piece of songwriting, their last collab.

@MarioTorre I saw Beato’s video and I disagree. It’s obscured by time, but part of what made the the Beatles was how rapidly they constantly evolved and changed their formula and sound. They were aggressive artists in that sense. To produce it like a museum piece from 1974 or whenever John taped it would to me be disrespectful and flat wrong. The survivors continued to work this track through the years. George was a living artist til 2001 and two survive.

@MarioTorre Across 1963-1970 each record changed. They were roundly criticized for changing and leaving fans frustrated & wanting a repeat of the prior album. That was 7 years’ production 50 years ago. If all were alive and reunited for one record in 2023, it would certainly sound more like this, with modern production techniques and tools, than like Let It Be, which is radically different from Please Please Me.

@stooovie Perhaps not what you were expecting, but here's the library I'm using. The quena (Peruvian flute) sound is great, and there's a lot more instruments, including percussion.

This library has great content from all over the world. @stooovie get on their list and watch for a sale. They are not on the low end of plugins but the quality is first rate, and with Shade you can do mid-side effects within an EQ type setup that nothing else can do.
