Finally got around to finishing the upgrades for my #Amiga 3000. It now has a BFG9060 and a ZZ9000 in it.
All ready for the public to play on it later this month.

I've been looking to get one of these for a while. A boxed Dataman S4 EPROM programmer. It connects via RS232, so no special software needed. It is also battery powered, so it can read/write/clone EPROMs away from my test bench. Also has built-in RAM and an EPROM emulator cable.

I have a whole bunch of ICs for retro computers to sell soon (RAM, custom chips, etc...). I wanted the pins to be protected when posting, so, I created this 🙂
There is a wide DIP version too. Both needs a little bit of tweaking, but they work quite well.

Extremely difficult to film, but my with some tweaks last night I got the SPI bandwidth increased and the badge running at 62fps, up from 55ish. I also tweaked the boing ball animation. Looks much better in real life, I don't have the equipment to film this well.

I thought I'd write a small booklet to go with the BBC Micro programming class I'm giving next month. That booklet has turned into a 43 A4 page book so far, and I'm not done yet!

New Acorn haul just turned up!
Two Electons (one faulty, one in polys), a boxed Plus 1 (I've unboxed it here), a PRES AP3, 5 game cartridges and an introduction tape!

I think I found a nice colour match with the BBC Master 128 when printing this cartridge. The texture PEI plate is not far off the computer's texture either!

A few months ago I made a prototype board called an Orthotopic 6502, which transplants a W65C02S into a 6502 socket. I built one and never tested it. Finally plugged it into a BBC Micro motherboard today and it boots!
