No Buttlickers wife would not choose a career over free money. Most people, male or female, would love to have millions in the bank and do fun stuff all day. It's not like she is a real "home maker" chances are that there is a Nanny, babysitter, one or more housekeepers, gardeners etc. My grandmother (who worked from home as a nurse) scrubbed the floors with a brush and bleach every day, every surface wiped everyday. Grew, harvested, cooked and mowed the lawn while raising 5 kids
