Yes, it does freeze - have plenty of images-, the temp has to be below 20F, colder than 32F where water freezes. It’s very rare around here to have this cold (Seattle area), but this year we had 2-3 mornings when I had a chance to experiment.
Our database continues to grow and we are being bumped to the next hosting tier. This will put our monthly hosting cost at around US$240, an increase of US$50.
Right now we have just US$35 in recurring contributions which leaves US$205 to be raised each and every month moving forward.
All options are on the table, but in the meantime, our Ko-Fi page is here: https://ko-fi.com/socel

I’m not familiar w Darktable, post-process my RAW files in Lightroom Classic. Just the basics: contrast, highlight, shadows, texture, clarity, noise reductions… It could be done in any phone app. My LrC catalog is in a mess, can’t help you there🤪
The shutter was open for 1.6sec. Here are my settings for that shot. Of course mostly it depends on the particular light conditions and your focal length.
Watching Maestro with Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan. It's like watching an old black and white 40s/50s kind of film. The feel of the direction is to emulate how the films were back then. Like when someone walks into shot and they are lit up and the transitions betweens scenes are blended. As I photo guy I really like it. #Photography#film#cinematography

No, I haven’t. I know it’s hard to blow up, it’s already cropped big time. I’ve asked two groups for the fish ID, most ppl said it was a Penpoint Gunnel (first I though some kind of eel.., but allegedly we don’t have them here in the PNW).
Some others said Sea Cucumber, the way it skirts water out of every pores. Here’s another picture, you might see more to help you answer your question.
