Storm Shadow doing some good work!

Now let's get other governments to contribute long range fires too. UK and France, both contributing Storm Shadows, already broke that barrier.

Those continue to be some high daily numbers, particularly with APCs and Artillery.

The two downed choppers are welcome news. Based on the other post, those are downed Ka-52s and Russia only has ~100 of them.

During June 17 and the beginning of June 18, the air defense of the Air Force destroyed two enemy Ka-52 attack helicopters, four Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs, and one Lancet. (beehaw.org)

Also, during the past and current day, the air defense of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, destroyed seven enemy reconnaissance UAVs of the operational-tactical level of the types "Orlan-10", "Orlan-30", "Zala", "Supercam" "....

Two downed Ka-52s is a big deal. Russia only has ~100 of them left and they are Russia's most effective attack chopper.

Works right up until they touch you back, “yes”.

Clearly, the only true arms are Soviet arms. ;p

From what I understand, once Russia got their air defense sorted, the TB2s became too vulnerable and were grounded. They are likely still being used in limited ways when Ukraine feels they can.

Reporting from Ukraine Summary 15 Jun: Finally! Ukrainians Started SLICING RUSSIAN DEFENSE IN BAKHMUT (youtu.be)

The Ukrainian forces have made significant progress in the war against Russia by bridging several defensive positions and attacking multiple settlements protecting the northern flank of Bahamut. The tactical objectives in the southern region have been achieved, allowing the forces to focus on the northern flank, where they...

Solid daily update. Ukraine seems to be taking little pieces every day.

What the hell was that? There was a small boom and it came in too slow for most projectiles, but fast for a drone. An APKWS maybe?

TIL! Think I'm going to do a very fishy pond near the base next time I play.

I remember a year ago, people were arguing that F-16 is too logistically difficult for Ukraine. And now they are getting F-16s and Gripen, while in talks to get F-18s as well.

Really makes the previous complaints look quite unfounded.

Honestly, I'm ok with that. In-browser players are often poor.

Also, love the video.

There will now be both ultra and non-ultra for several of the numbers. Is a Core 7 or a Core Ultra 5 better? I dislike this rebrand already.

Train station naming schemes

How do you all name your train stations? I was using load/unload for a while but wanted shorter names. So I switched to in/out where "in" is a resource input that is deposited by train. This causes some confusion though people thinking "in" means putting stuff in the train. I've also been floating the idea of on/off for putting...

I normally do [Function] - [Location/Base Name]:

  • Iron Pickup - SE
  • Iron Pickup - Northern Defense
  • Iron Dropoff - Main Base

Gets more and more important as the number of bases increase.

I have heard both Apple (in iOS 17) and Google maps support EV stops now. Though I haven't used either, so have no clue how well it is implemented.

This is the thing that legitimately amazes me hasn't happened yet. It is one of the more obvious things to fix. There is a reason every bulk shipping company uses the things.
