@BlackAzizAnansi I can tell you that you will cry. You will cry a lot. You will need to learn about "distros" and how to solve problems in BASH. It will rarely "just work." Everything will always be a little harder.
About half the software will be from open source projects (and have crap usability), so you will have to know to "Go find Gnome File Manager" or "CUPS" to print from, instead of just "printer" or "files."
@BlackAzizAnansi I think it's that social media allows us to talk to strangers. It's a lot easier for folks to indulge in being contrarian jackasses to people they have never met and will likely never meet, because there are no immediate real-world repercussions (like, say, not being invited to the cookout anymore.)

So my dad got kicked out of college in the early 70's due to a race riot where naturally all of the Black people were blamed, and he,this best friend and I may be going back to visit, but I'm lol'ing because he told me he doesn't think he'll run into anyone he knows on campus.
My favorite thing about Cobra Kai is how Johnny always manages to sneak into the high school and nobody notices this random ass 50 something year old man walking around campus calling kids pussys.
@BlackAzizAnansi I wasn't sure about them but last year I painted the walls around the sliding glass doors in my kitchen and I love the result so I guess I'm sold on the concept now.
@artemis@BlackAzizAnansi It's always a money thing. Either you spent too much, or are going to, so you write a cheap episode, and nothing's cheaper than cutting up old ones.
